Ugh...MORE rain...

Ok, this rain thing is getting a little old now. I arrived here in New Orleans late Tues and the weather was pretty mild. I thought I'd finally escaped the rains but no such luck. It clouded over Wed evening and poured all night Wed and so far all morning this morning. Oh well.

But I did find my new favorite spot to hang out. A little cafe on Magazine Street in New Orleans called Rue de la Course. Actually, it's not so little...it's got almost 50 tables in it. It seems to always have a good crowd in it...serving mostly a graduate student population. Just about everyone in here is studying or writing. They've got free wireless (yay!) and cheap sandwiches and snacks.

I spent a good chunk of time in here yesterday, before and after exploring the city for the day, and then returned here this morning to get out of the apartment and escape the rain while I figure out some sort of indoor exploring to do today. Looks like it'll be a museum day.

I've also got a bunch of pics to post...will try to do that later.
